"It's the most wonderful time of the year!"
Thank you staples for the sweet commercial :)
Although, this year sending Josh to school was... different.
Having moved so close to the start of the school year, made us both a little nervous.
I told myself it's better this way and that he wouldn't be without friends for too long.
Ok. Maybe I was more nervous than him.
I didn't cry though.
He did very well getting himself going in the morning, which surprised me. The week before school we were staying up all sorts of late. (Very responsible of me, I know.)
Josh's had to wake up VERY early because he wants to ride the bus. 6 AM to be exact.
(That is the absolute crack of dawn for me.)
The bus should come at a quarter to 7, but so far it's been late everyday, rolling in around 7:05 or so.
He chose his own breakfast...
Posed in front of the house for tradition sake...
Walked to the bus stop with a couple of buddies...
Excited for 2nd grade!

And when he came home...

Guess who was there to greet him??
