I was looking for a way to motivate my kids to do their part around the house and found this really neat website.
http://www.handipoints.com/If your kid's are into webkinz, clubpenguin, or just playing on the computer, then this a really fun and FAIR way to let them know what's expected of them and what they need to do to earn their rewards. As a bonus, they get some computer time.
I am hoping this will also save me some money because I always find myself buying a little thing here or there every time I'm at a store.
The chore chart is a good visual for my kids. 'Cause if they can't see it, it doesn't exist!! The kids control how quickly they receive their rewards and you get to "grade" them on their efforts.
Give it a try. I think your kids will like it. It is FREE, but off course you can always upgrade and pay... I didn't even consider that, so I don't know what it costs.
BTW, you can customize your chart with whatever chores you want, healthy habits, good behavior, etc... but my favorite category is the DEMERITS one... >>>insert evil laugh<<< LOL!!!
