2 more weeks!

First Flight

These pictures were taken back at the end of August when we returned from NC.

This was Josh and Bella's First Flight. It went perfectly. The flight was only an hour and 20 minutes long, but we arrived a little early.

I had just enough snacks, and entertainment in my bag to keep them quiet.

Joshua was so EXCITED. Can you tell?? Helping out his friend.





Joshua got to meet the Pilots, but Bella decided it wasn't for her...
They both received their wings from the co-pilot :)

Killing some time... I had to pull out the big guns during the last 20 minutes. Bella was starting to get restless.
The flight was so empty, Joshua got to try a bunch of different seats.
Home at last!

Changes

So, we are no longer having settlement on the 30th. You see... This time my keen sense of procrastination was right on target!!

We'll settle on October 10th, which really is a better date for Dwight to take off work and all, but stinks that we have to make another Rent/Mortgage/storage payment. What can we do??

I also decide to postpone Isabella's unbirthday party until the 27th. That way I'll have more time to think of all the pink food that will be served at the party :)

She is all ready for her Pink party. She's even picked out her outfit...

There is enough pink in this picture to make anyone puke!

Too Lazy to pack...

Not sure what is up, but for some reason I just don't feel the urgency, and the need to pack the rest of the house. I'm sure I'm going to pay for it later.

We're having a little unbirthday thing for Bella on Friday night and uh.... I haven't done anything for that either... not even invitations. By the way, whoever wants to show up, we're just having pink cake, and pink ice cream, and pink lemonade, and some other pink stuff that i haven't fully thought about yet. :P

We decided to accept the sucky offer...

After A WHOLE LOT of praying and thinking about the terrible offer we got the other day, Dwight and I decided to just go ahead and accept it. We had countered it, but since this is the soon-to-be newlyweds first time buying a house, they're using some weird program, and could not meet our counter offer.

We were a little offended at first when we got the offer, specially Dwight, but then the thought of being apart indefinitely, and having to brave the winter months trying to sell this house in this TERRIBLE housing market; we thought, You know what? WHATEVER!

So we are under contract, and hopefully everything will go smoothly. PLEASE PRAY THAT EVERYTHING WILL!!!

But here is the crazy part...

If all goes well... We close on September 30th!

THAT'S A LITTLE OVER 2 WEEKS AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who was I griping to about being bored??? NEVER MIND!!

What happens when we are bored...

Got an offer, but it stinks.

The house has only been on the market for a month and a half.

To me it feels like forever. I am very impatient.

I just can't believe how some people can be so bold to make such ridiculous offers, and think they're doing us a favor. PLEASE!

I don't think we're quite as desperate as these folks thought we were.

Joshua's First Day of Kindergarten

Ok, I'm a little behind, but here are the pictures of Joshua's first day of school on 8/27.

The morning started out great. Even though we had just gotten home from NC the day before, he didn't have any trouble waking up.

He was SO excited to ride the bus...

It was pretty darn chilly that morning. His poor little legs were shaking!

UNFORTUNATELY

The bus never came : -S

and I had to drive him to school.

He was a little disappointed, but as soon as we got closer to the school building he cheered up.

He did get to ride the bus home though...

Overall, Joshua had a great day! He really likes school and is making friends quickly. He likes his teacher, and she has mentioned that he is a "joy" to have in class.

We're so proud of you Buddy!!

Vacation Pictures Part 1

Every time we go to the beach, Isabella goes upside-down...

Joshua got stung by a Jellyfish, and was freaking out. It was huge at first, but then all of the swelling went away, and all that was left was a little red around his ankle. We were soooo relieved.
It didn't keep him out of the water.
