Turtle Tea Time

I thought this was so funny, I just had to get a picture. The boys had taken all of Isabella's doll house furniture and created a "lair" for the turtles. I guess at some point they must have gotten tired of fighting, so they took a lunch break. Notice the lovely tray of vegetables, dip and pretzels. Also the "hot chocolate" (These ninja turtles are LDS too), lemonade and the wonderful friendly atmosphere that is felt all around. Even with the evil shredder present. I can only imagine how the conversation must have gone like... "Duuuude, remember when I totally kicked your butt in that alien invasion episode? It was like...TOTALLY AWESOME!!"

Unfortunately the turle "lair" did not last very long since Isabella wanted her furniture back. I guess the break was over :)

A Bella Mess!!

Can you believe it? I was at my computer working when i felt a little tap on my leg. I looked over and at first I was totally shocked to see this shinny, slick, vaseline covered toddler! She looked at me and said... "My hands are dirty!" I just busted out laughing and luckily the camera was right beside me. I think my favorite part of the entire video is when the boys realize what she has done and come over to take a closer look... She just gives them a little smile, bats her eyes as if "Don't I look lovely?!" Well, of course a few seconds later reality set in... Crap! How am i supposed to get vaseline off of her?? And my jeans? and her clothe?? Arghhh!!! I took her upstairs and started drawing a bath... I figured warm water and lots of soap ought to do it! Well, I put her in the tub, and remembered that she had left the lid of the vaseline tub on my cloth office chair... So i ran downstairs and rescued the chair...(there is a little mark, but it could have been so much worse!) I ran back upstairs to find Isabella standing by the toilet, soaking wet, singing... Again, the shock! What are you doing??? I asked her. She just pointed to the tub... In my head I thought OH NO!! And sure enough... two little turds floating in the water. I could NOT BELIEVE THIS WAS HAPPENING!!

Anyway, as you can tell by the pictures, I plopped her onto the toilet and began the clean up. At one point she ran her hand through her hair and it just stood up, so that gave me an idea... (see pictures) I guess you can call it Bribe photos!! Even after all of the soap, and scrubbing and washing, she still looked and felt greasy... I thought, Forget it! At least now i don't have to rub you down with lotion! Trying to look on the bright side!! I dried her off and put on some pj's and sent her off so i could clean up the mess in the bathroom. 20 minutes later, she sounded way to quiet, so i went looking for her... You guessed it... She was into something else!!! My chapstick! This time she was just dipping her finger in it (destroying it at the same time), and rubbing it on her lips. I just can't believe this girl. I wish the whole "eyes in the back of your head" thing was true, 'cause with this girl, I sure could use a few extra pairs.

Later this evening after I got home from grocery shopping, Dwight had a little surprise for me... Joshua's Nintendo DS was covered in vaseline!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
