Today felt like i spent the entire day in front of this darn computer...
My butt is starting to get that nice office chair flat bottom look and all the excess is going to my hips. Goodness. It was a tough day at the office... or should i say the livingroom? Jen was very nice to take the kids while i worked. It's been a blessing to have her help me out like this, specially when i am so swampped with work. The work i am doing is not difficult at all, rather BORING... I think if i wasn;t LDS, I would have drank a least 5 cups of coffee today alone. Didn't help that Borne Ultimatum came out on video yesterday and i ended up going to bed at almost 2 in the morning. It was a good movie. I liked Transformers too... just saw that the other day. Yeah... missed all of these great movies at the movie theater, but got to watch them in the comfort of my couch with the Hubby. It was nice. Anyway...
Since Jen and I swapped cars while she had the kids, (carseats are a pain) I parked her car in my driveway, but i guess that was not enough for my neighbor to know i was home... He never brought Vincent over, so i just work and work and worked... By the time Jen came back with the kids, it was past 3 PM and i had gotten a ton of work done. I am so glad, because we really could use the money.
Poor Jen, I am glad i had an extra set of clothing in Isabella's diaper bag. Because of the antibiotics, she had a MAJOR blowout.

'Tis the Season...
To get sick that is! Yikes... I don't know what is going on, but the kids have been sick with something new just about every other week. This week's pick... Pneumonia. I originally took Isabella to the peds on Thrusday to check on a long cold that just isn't going away. I brought Joshua as a tag along, but after the Pediatrician told me Isabella has pneumonia for the 2nd time in 3 months, i thought she should check him out as well. Good thing she did! Turns out that not only does he have pneumonia, but also an ear infection. Funny thing is, I almost didn't take them to the doctor's because even sick, they just seem to function... get in trouble, act silly as usual. Makes me wonder who the bigger babies are... Today for example, I had a headache. It just about knocked me out and all I wanted was some sleep. I am sure the kids were tired of hearing me shoosh them so I could nap on the couch. Anyway... like I mentioned before, they are doing just fine, and I pray that they will soon get better!
We also had the opportunity to go to the Lima's this weekend. Vanizia, Paul, Dwight and I attended Noche de Carnaval, the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in Phila's annual ball.
It was fun! The theme this year as you may have guessed, was Brasil. They had a band, or should I say "Batucada" called Alo Brasil. They were awesome. Off course they had the chicks in gaudy thong costumes for the pleasure of all the guys around... and as a memento Cachaca. LOL! It was funny when Varsovia, announced that we would get a memento so that we could take a little taste of Brasil home, Dwight pipes up and says "Rapadura!!" It cracked us up!
Saturday, as the kids played, Mom, Vanizia and I were Oompa Loompas. I learned how to handle caramel, dipped my very first batch of apples and pretzels, and packaged a bunch of stuff. It was like a little factory at the Limas :) At the end of the day we got to relax and play a much deserved game of Phase 10. On Sunday (Today) we sang Happy Birthday to Lorena. She is 3 today! V took some pictures, when she sends them to me I will post them!
