One last one...

Even with crazy schedules, and a whole lot of distance between us, we just HAD to get together one more time before Emily moves out west.

It was so nice to be together again and laugh, and laugh and laugh some more. The grub at the Hershey Hotel was absolutely delicious, and the company could not have been better!

It was great to re-tell some of our old favorite stories and catch up with some good new ones. It is NEVER boring being around you ladies.

(A little surprise from our very nice waiter. He must have overheard us and seen the birthday card that Denise had on the table for me.)

I love you ladies, and I am already looking forward to our next get together next year... wherever it may be!

*Who knows, we might even get another "snoopy" waiter!!

Isabella as Mulan

Move aside Jungle Book & Aladdin,
Mulan is here to stay... at least for the now...

...And I guess you can say I am guilty for feeding the habit. We went through the library's cd collection and found Disney's greatest hits. She's hooked.

Check out her video, she's very proud of herself, and will sing for anyone who asks... Almost anyone :)

When Grandma & Grandpa Came to Visit

Back in April, we were pleasantly surprised by Dwight's parents here in NC. They came to visit and help us celebrate Joshua's 6th birthday. We were thrilled to have visitors :)
While they were here, we visited a couple of places, like Sarah Duke Gardens & Jordan Lake.
It was so nice to have more family around. Everything was totally low key and we all enjoyed the little time we had together.
Thank you & we miss you Grandma & Grandpa!!

Grandma Prouse

It was cool watching THAT bird catch THAT fish. Joshua was mesmerized!
(Yeah, I know... I'm such a nature connoisseur!! LOL)

It took us a few tries to get this picture. I think the long walk and the sun was getting to us all :)

The kids were very drawn to the water...

Seawell Elementary Folkmoot

Joshua's kindergarten class performed a cowboy slap dance for their school's annual Folkmoot.
The kids had a great time, and Joshua really enjoyed himself!
I was very surprised at his confidence in performing for such a large group. He did GREAT!!
We're so proud of him.
